What to do in Punta Cana in 5 days: an itinerary with tours and transfers

Five days is enough to see the best of Punta Cana without rushing. This is the plan I recommend to anyone who asks me for a ready-made guide. You can change the order depending on the weather and how you feel.

Day 1: arrival and rest

Book your private transfer from the airport, drop off your bags and rest. Enjoy your hotel’s beach.

Day 2: Saona Island

A full day of beach and sea. Choose the classic Saona Island Excursion or the VIP version if you prefer a smaller group.

Day 3: adventure

Half a day of buggies through jungle, Macao Beach and a cenote, or the safari truck if you prefer to ride along and see the Dominican countryside.

Day 4: culture or nature

Choose between the Santo Domingo City Tour, a visit to the Colonial Zone on a long day, or the excursion to Samaná, with a waterfall on horseback and Cayo Levantado.

Day 5: farewell

A relaxed morning on the sea with Party Boats or deep-sea fishing, and if you want to end with a bang, a night at Coco Bongo. Remember Coco Bongo is for guests 18 and over.

For the return to the airport, book your departure transfer in advance. If you want me to help you build the plan around your dates, message me at +1 (829) 395-7036.
