Tour Description
You don’t need to have fished in your life to get on this boat. Deep-sea fishing in Punta Cana is one of those experiences that sounds intimidating until you’re there, rod in hand, and you realize the crew takes care of everything technical while you just wait for that tug on the line.

How we fish: the trolling technique
We use the trolling technique, which means keeping the boat in constant motion while the baits drag through the water at a certain depth. That way we increase the chances of running into Marlin, Mahi-mahi, Wahoo or Yellowfin Tuna, which are the most common species in these waters. The captain and crew guide the whole process, so even if it’s your first time, you’ll know exactly what to do when something bites.
All the gear, already sorted
You don’t have to carry anything. Fishing gear and bait are included, and throughout the trip you’ll have water, soft drinks and also alcoholic drinks on board. Our specialized guide stays with you at all times to explain every step.

Did you catch something good? We’ll cook it for you
If you’re lucky and come back with a good catch, you can take it to a beach restaurant to have it prepared and enjoy it with whoever is with you. Few things feel as good as eating the fish you pulled out of the sea yourself that same morning.
If you really love the sea and not just looking at it from the sand, message me on WhatsApp at +1 (829) 395-7036 and we’ll book your fishing trip with Punta Cana in Travel.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need previous experience? expand_more
Not at all. Most people who come have never fished in deep sea, and the crew guides you every step of the way.
Is it guaranteed that I'll catch something? expand_more
As on any real fishing trip, there are no guarantees, this is nature, not an aquarium. But we sail areas where the odds of finding Marlin, Mahi-mahi, Wahoo or Tuna are good.
